Shubman Gill, who has been appointed as Suryakumar`s deputy, even he has hit the nets. He has donned the Indian colours on 21 occasions in T20Is and has accumulated 578 runs. He also has a century and three half-centuries to his name

The tournament also awaits Abhishek Sharma. He has so far played 17 T20I matches, in which he has scored 535 runs. The left-hander has scored two tons and the same number of half-centuries

Tilak Varma was also seen during the net session. So far, the swashbuckling left-hander has featured in 25 T20Is and has garnered 749 runs, including two centuries and three half-centuries

Sanju Samson, with whom Jitesh Sharma has been in he race for the wicket-keeper`s slot in the Asia Cup 2025, also made his appearance. With impressive wicket-keeping technique and stunning display with the willow, the right-hander has scored 861 runs in 42 appearances for India
