Tom Latham will lead the side that misses several senior players from the World Cup squad. Kane Williamson, Tim Southee, Daryl Mitchell, Mitchell Santner, Glenn Phillips and Devon Conway are not part of the squad, as per the ICC
Michael Bracewell (Achilles), Matt Henry (hamstring), Lockie Ferguson (Achilles), James Neesham (ankle), Ben Lister (hamstring) and Henry Shipley (back) were not considered for the selection ahead of the ODI series against Bangladesh due to injuries
The Kiwis' lead pacer Trent Boult has made himself unavailable and will not feature in the ODI series against Bangladesh
Both teams will clash with each other in a three-match ODI series. The first ODI will be played at University Oval on December 17, the second at Saxton Oval on December 20. The third and final ODI clash between New Zealand and Bangladesh will be played at McLean Park on December 23
