Arsenal avoided a major embarrassment against English Premier League’s (EPL) cellar-dwellers, Wolves, requiring two own-goals — one in added time — to win 2-1 on Saturday. However, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta opted to see the brighter side of things, claiming that a gritty win like this shows his side’s resilience.

“This [win] gives you belief that regardless of how the game goes, we can always find a solution to win it,” Arteta said. However, with the amount of chances that they had in the first-half, Arteta admitted that the margin of victory should have been bigger, and lamented a period of complacency in the second-half for making matters tougher than it needed to be.
