London: Everton are poised to announce the club-record signing of Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku on a permanent basis from Premier League rivals Chelsea, British media reports said on Wednesday.

Britain's Press Association reported that Lukaku, who spent last season on loan at Everton, will sign a five-year contract and join for a fee of $42.2 million (31.6 million euros).
