Former Manchester United defender Phil Jones has announced his retirement from professional football at 32 and is now focusing on a career in coaching. The defender, who last played in a 3-0 win over Brentford a year before leaving Old Trafford at the end of the 2022-23 season, has not seen in action since. 

Despite his career being cut short due to persistent injuries, Jones, who earned 27 caps for England, is looking forward to a new challenge in coaching.
