Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says the stress of Hugo Lloris's drink-driving arrest may have contributed to the thigh injury the goalkeeper suffered against Manchester United.
Spurs have suffered three consecutive defeats since the Frenchman was injured - back-to-back EPL losses and a Champions League reverse at Inter Milan. Lloris's injury came in the game after it was announced he had been arrested for drink-driving and he has not featured since he suffered the thigh problem in the 3-0 win at United on August 27. The World Cup winner last week received a 20-month driving ban and a GBP 50,000 fine in relation to the incident in London. "He was under stress during the game against United," said Pochettino.
