Riding on Jorge Pereyra Diaz’s penalty, Mumbai City FC registered a 1-1 draw against Hyderabad FC to continue their season’s undefeated streak in the Indian Super League at the Mumbai Football Arena on Saturday. 


Mumbai City FC now sit at 43 points from 17 games, having already secured a spot in the semi-finals. Meanwhile, Hyderabad FC trail the league leaders by seven points at second place with a game in hand.

The Nizams have been on a seven-match unbeaten run of their own. Diaz drew first blood for Mumbai in the 24th minute, while Hyderabad’s Mohammad Yasir scored the equaliser in the 65th minute.
