Jason Cummings scored the winner as Mohun Bagan Super Giant overcame NorthEast United 3-2 in a five-goal thriller at the Salt Lake Stadium here to register their first win of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 season on Monday night. The win marks the fifth comeback victory for a team this season, at the end of Gameweek 2 as Mohun Bagan Super Giants fought back after conceding the lead twice to claim three points.
Mohun Bagan have now scored in 12 consecutive ISL games whereas the Highlanders have failed to keep a clean sheet for the first time in their last three matches.
