Mumbai City FC managed to defeat Bengaluru FC 3-1 in their Indian Super League assignment at the GMC Athletic Stadium. Igor Angulo (9th minute) opened the scoring by converting a penalty. 

Cleiton Silva (20th) then scored with a sublime long-range direct free-kick bringing the game to equal terms. Mourtada Fall (54th) sent his team into the lead again on Saturday night. Ygor Catatau (85th) sealed the win.
