Former England footballer Rio Ferdinand’s wife, Kate has spoken about the difficulties she faces in life juggling between her roles as a mother, wife and her career.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the reality TV star recently wrote: “Time seems to be going by so quickly the last few weeks, it’s so crazy! For anyone else struggling with the juggle of life you are not alone! Trying my best to be a good mum, wife, keep up with messages, remain fit, healthy and work is proving near on impossible! Something always has to give.” Kate has son Cree, 11 months, with Ferdinand and is step mother to his kids Lorenz, 15, Tate, 13 and Tia, 10.

Kate explained that life is not perfect and she has learned to live with it. “I may not make the school run or work out every day, some nights recently it’s been a takeaway instead of home-cooked food and there has definitely been no fresh lovely snacks cooked for Cree this week, but that is life. It’s not perfect over here but if it gives me more time with these five it works for me,” she remarked.
