Two days after their divorce was finalised, the ex-wife of golfer Tiger Woods has spilled the secrets of their split, saying that her husband's string of infidelities put her "through hell".

Elin Nordegren told People magazine in an article published Wednesday that there was no truth to speculation that she had hit Woods on the night he crashed his car outside their Florida estate, the incident that sparked the revelations about his numerous extramarital affairs.
