'Dhikkar Hai' is composed and co-written by Adarsh Rathor who works with a news channel. This is Rathor's first experiment with a Hindi song, as he has been writing poetry in local Himachali dialect.

His friend helped him to write the song for Commonwealth Games, eliciting the corruption around the sporting event as well as the shame it has brought to India. The song also mentions Organising Committee chairman Suresh Kalmadi.

The song has been uploaded on file sharing website hotshare.com and so far close to 1,000 people has downloaded it. The song is getting very popular on Facebook and Aadarsh is getting appreciative remarks and kudos for his work.

"The intention behind composing this song was to raise awareness among the people about the rampant corruption done in the name of Commonwealth Games and urging the masses to act against it. I composed the song using some basic recording softwares, a mike and some necessary equipments. The feel is important not the finish," said Adarsh. The journo said he would not provide his song to be used commercially.

"The song was created with in few days and was uploaded on social networking sites and file sharing website this week only and I have got phenomenal response. I am getting lot of comments and so far rate of download of this song is decent. Lot of people has already started sharing the song on mobile," Adarsh said.

The song is also uploaded on a group on a social networking website with the name "Commonwealth Jhel".u00a0
Blaming the organisers, politicians and the police for the fiasco, the song says: "Games ke naam par hua hai bhrastachar jeet gaye lootere khel ki hui haar. Neta afsar aur saath mein thanedaar, tikadi jami aisi arbo gaye dakaar."
