The Indian challenge at the China Masters Super Series came to an end here Thursday as both Ajay Jayaram and Anand Pawar lost their respective matches at the Olympic Sports Centre Xincheng Gymnasium.
World No 23 Jayaram lost his first round men’s singles match 14-21, 21-23 to local Yuekun Chen in 36 minutes, while Japan’s Sho Sasaki downed Mumbai's Pawar 12-21, 21-14, 21-16 in 55 minutes.u00a0
