The 30-year-old Frenchwoman, currently ranked 20 in the world, has not played on the WTA Tour since suffering a second-round exit to Aleksandra Wozniak at the US Open a month ago.
The two-time Grand Slam winner (2006 Australian Open & Wimbledon) yesterday pulled out of her remaining two events of the season (Linz & Luxembourg and admitted she'd use the time to decide whether to retire. "Since I came back from the US Open, I've been trying to practice but I can't find the desire again to come back to competition. I don't want to rush or force things. I'll take some time to think before making a decision on the remainder of my career," she told her official website.
