Aryan Sood came good at the nick of time. Sood's hat-trick helped his team Campion (Cooperage), last year's runners-up, trounce Jamnabai Narsee (Juhu) 3-0 in the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) U-16 Div I inter-school football tie at the Azad Maidan yesterday
By virtue of this win, Campion (21) went two points ahead of Don Bosco (19) in the standings.

Aryan converted a penalty to put Campion in lead in the 24th minute. The penalty was awarded to the Cooperage team after Shlok Jain was tackled from behind. In the 40th minute, Aryan doubled the lead with a curled right-footer. Sood sealed the fate in the 55th minute with a close-range shot.
Having scored three goals, Sood’s joy knew no bounds, though they still have a couple of matches in hand, which will decide the fate of the tournament. “Last year we came close to winning the title. This year, we are ahead of Bosco and I hope we maintain the lead,” Aryan told MiD DAY.
Campion coach Alex Wilfred Alva was all praise for the youngster. “This is Aryan’s first year in the U-16 team. He has handled pressure very well and scored when the team needed it the most,” Alva said.
