Up against an in-form opposition, the Indians had no answer to Kazakhstan, who led from start to finish at the
Hwaseong Sports Complex Gymnasium.
Leading 15-12 at the end of first quarter, Kazakhstan raced to a 36-22 lead at half-time. After managing to take only four points to Kazakhstan's 19 in the third quarter, India pulled things back by winning 21 points in the final quarter, but that was not enough to surpass the opposition's total score.
