New Delhi: The Badminton Association of India (BAI) on Monday announced Rs.10 lakh for P.V. Sindhu, who clinched the $120,000 Macau Open Grand Prix Gold title on Sunday for a third consecutive year.

World No.12 Sindhu defended her crown by defeating Japan's Minatsu Mitani 21-9, 21-23, 21-14 in the women's singles final.
"She has yet again made us proud because of her play and determination to prove herself on the international platform," BAI president Akhilesh Das Gupta said.
"We were confident she will retain the title and she has stood up to our expectations from her as a player who has a bright future ahead. We at BAI are proud of her and want her to win more such tournaments."
This is the 20-year-old Sindhu's first title of 2015 though she had also reached the final of the Denmark Open.
