Second seeds Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Lucie Safarova won their fourth Grand Slam title, beating 12th-seeded duo of Andrea Hlavackova and Peng Shuai 6-7 (4/7), 6-3, 6-3 in the Australian Open 2017 women’s doubles yesterday. But more than their on-court tennis moves, it was their dance moves that caught everyone’s eye.
The American-Czech pair put on a special celebratory dance on court after the win with the crowd thoroughly amused by the choreographed show. Nifty twists, hand swings and twirls — the girls did it all giving their fans a moment to remember for a long time to come.
