Mumbai’s Biren Pithawala in his Nissan GTR drove away with the top honours in the H3 (foreign cars - 3001 to 4000cc) category in the ‘Roaring Champions’, the country’s first night lit drag race, being conducted at Yashwant Smart City, in Vasai yesterday.

Pithawala showed excellent control as he coolly negotiated the one lap race clocking a time of 11.838 seconds to clinch the first place. Shubham Lad and Samit Naik, both from Mumbai, finished second and third respectively.
