Gaurav Bidhuri (49 kg) entered the semi-finals of the President's Cup International Boxing event here yesterday and assured himself of at least a bronze while Santosh Kumar (64kg) and Lakhbir Singh (69kg) advanced to the quarter-finals. Bidhuri defeated Muhamed Fuad of Malaysia 9:8 in his quarter-final bout.

Bidhuri will take on Ian Clark Bautista of Philippines in the last four. Santosh, a silver medallist at the Guangzhou Asian Games, outpunched Lee Yong Hee of Korea 13:11 in the pre-quarter-finals. Lakhbir knocked out Truong Dinh Hong of Vietnam in his round of 16 bout.
Santhosh Harijan (52kg), Chhote Lal Yadav (56kg) and Jasveer Singh (81kg) have already made it to the quarter-finals.
