India boxer Vijender Singh, 31, sent out a wonderful message to his two million-plus Twitter fans on World Food Day yesterday.

"Milkay ek trend chalado koyi bhi bhukha mile usse roti khiladi, karna bus ek kaam, utna hi lena thali mein jo barbaad na jaave naali mein," wrote the 2008 Beijing Olympics bronze medal-winning pugilist, which when translated into English reads, "Let’s start a trend that whenever we meet a hungry person, we’ll feed him, and we will take only that much food in our plates that we can eat and not any excess that is later thrown down the drain."
