For the second time in a row the Don Bosco 'A' and 'B' teams will face each other in the final of the boys under-12 MSSA-Nike inter-school hockey tournament. On Saturday, Bosco's 'A' team defeated St Andrew's (Bandra) 2-0 and later, the 'B' team defeated St Stanislaus 1-0 on their home ground in the semi-final.
"The 'A' team is very good and I had no worries about them making it to the final but I was a bit concerned about the 'B' team. They have been performing well during practice but they were not executing the drills during matches. I am happy both my teams have come in the final and it is a great feeling to beat Stanislaus on their home ground. All credit to the 'B' team center half Samson Muthukumar and the goal scorer Shalom Monteiro (left half). They were brilliant in the midfield," said Don Bosco coach Javed Sayed.
