Each race had teams of six first-timers and one professional instructor. Each team had 40 minutes to learn to sail and race before the event. Sanjay Razdan, Deepak Jain, Sanjeev Agarwal, Zaki Arab, and Faridoon Gamadia aboard 'Storm Rider' were the winners of the first regatta. "This is a great way to introduce corporate India to the thrill of sailing," said Shakeel Kudrolli of Aquasail, the organisers of the event. In the second session, Samrat Jain, Khoobi Jain, Vivek Chowdhary, Shariq Contractor, Sakib Maskati and Kaushik Chakravorty aboard 'Storm Rider' emerged victorious. The next event that took place at Mandwa was won by Mamta Malhotra, Simmi Jain, Mona Jain, Chhaya Batra, Anna Assisi, Seema Jain and Nandini Chaurasia aboard 'Wind Runner'. In the first session of the final day, Surendra Kapur, Mrs Kapur, Bhushan Sethi, Vipul Varma, Tanay Varma and Sachin Singhvi aboard 'Thunder Flash' were winners while in the second Manju and Ashok Mahindra, Prashant Bhansali, Chetan Sanghvi, Ronita Mitra and Vinay Bhatia aboard 'Storm Rider' took first place. "The pioneering set of races have set a high benchmark for corporate regattas and future yacht racing in India," said Kudrolli.
