Seven-time Tour de France cycling champ Lance Armstrong was shocked to hear of the death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs yesterday.

"Devastated 2 hear about the passing of Steve Jobs," Armstrong tweeted. "Was blessed 2 have the opportunity to spend time w/ him on several occasions. May he RIP," Armstrong wrote on Twitter.
US swimmer Jessica Hardy tweeted: "'Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn't matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we've done something wonderful matters.' Steve Jobs." Jobs died of cancer.
