The Khiladi Connect-organised under-14 cricket tournament got underway at the Don Bosco High School, Matunga yesterday with the hosts beating Chembur Gymkhana by three wickets in a closely contested 25-over-per-side encounter

The Khiladi Connect-organised under-14 cricket tournament got underway at the Don Bosco High School, Matunga yesterday with the hosts beating Chembur Gymkhana by three wickets in a closely contested 25-over-per-side encounter.

Batting first, Chembur Gymkhana made 114 off their 25 overs. The Bosco boys managed to get the winning runs in the penultimate over.


Chennai-based former Mumbai Ranji Trophy and under-22 batsman Sankaran Srinivasan inaugurated the tournament and also shared his insights with both teams, with words of encouragement for the youngsters.
