The Mohanlal Bhartia Bridge tournament was a grand success. Over 60 teams participated in the four-day Rs 10 lakh prize money tournament at the Suryaa NFC, New Delhi.
Poddar's, Azure (Hoodas), Empty Vessels, Amrapali, Arun Jain, Indian Maverick, Shree Cement and Dhampur Sugar were the eight teams that qualified for the team of four.
Semis action
Azure got the better of Dhampur Sugar in the first semi-final while Empty Vessels beat Poddar's in the other semi-final.
In 56 board finals, Empty Vessels comprising Hema Deora, J M Shah, R Krishnan, Swarnendu Banerjee, Raju Tolani and Ajay Khare beat Azure (Hoodas) captained by Major Hooda and comprising A Vaidya, Thukral,
