Four players selected for Asian judo

The 10th Asia Cadet and 17th Asia Junior Judo Championship will be held in Kochi from September 7th to 11th at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Four players from Maharashtra have been selected as part of the Indian contingent for the event

Pune: The 10th Asia Cadet and 17th Asia Junior Judo Championship will be held in Kochi from September 7th to 11th at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Four players from Maharashtra have been selected as part of the Indian contingent for the event.

The tournament is being organised jointly by Judo Federation of India, Judo Union of Asia and Kerela Judo Association. Shravan Shegde has been selected in the Junior Championship category while Shubhangi Raut, Snehal Khaware and Rucha Dhopeshwar have been selected in the Cadet Championship category. Datta Aphale has been appointed as the referee.
