Michael Schumacher is hoping he can put on a show for his fans by finishing on the podium in Sunday's German GP, his first race on home soil since 2006

Schumacher, a four-times winner at the Hockenheim circuit, said: "For sure, we will do everything possible to achieve a good result for our home fans.
"We are looking reasonable over one lap and on longer runs, confirming what we already hinted at during the last weekend in Silverstone.
"If everything goes as it should tomorrow, we should reach fifth or sixth position, which is a step forward, and hopefully even more in the race."
