One of the most awaited corporate golfing events of the season, The TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge, will tee off from the Aamby Valley Golf Resort on January 8.

This multi city corporate event is the only corporate golfing event in the country which gives Indian corporate teams a unique opportunity to represent their country in the annual World Golf Championship of corporate teams.

The event comprises three stages -- regional rounds, National Final and the World Final. The 15th edition of the event in India grows bigger and grander with the National final being held at Bangkok, Thailand.

The two top winning teams from each of the day of the regional rounds go on to compete at the National Final on April 4thu00a0 - 5th 2011 to grab the top spot and win themselves once in a life time opportunity to represent India at the world championship.

Other teams that have represented India in the past at the world finals are BPCL, Parle Foods, Standard Chartered Bank, Mercedes Benz, Deutsche Bank, Indian Airlines, Hero Motors, GE, Credit Suisse, Golden Peacock & McCann Ericson. Last year, the Indian Team were tied 1st at the World Finals of World Corporate Golf Challenge and lost on count back. In 2008, the Indian Team from Credit Suisse became the first and only Indian team to emerge victorious at the World Finals held at the famed La Manga Club in Spain.

The World Corporate Golf Challenge, World Final is held from May 3-8 at Oubaai Golf Course - first Ernie Els signature course in the beautiful Garden Route district of South Africa.
