Pic/Sayed Sameer Abedi In the final, played over 36 holes, Gurbani beat Aditi, her closest rival on tour, five holes to four (5-4) to complete a phenomenal week, which saw her capture the stroke play title as well. The stroke play tournament preceded the match play format and had seen both golfers finish in the same order. With this win, Gurbani is assured of maintaining her status as the best female Indian amateur golfer in the country. Meanwhile, Aditi will maintain her second position on the merit list. Gurbani got back to her winning ways in Mumbai after a gap of about three months, after she had won her last title in Chandigarh in October.u00a0
