Pic/Getty Images The emergence of Red Bull as the sport's dominant force has seen Hamilton, the 2008 champion, linked with a move to a team he admits he is envious of. But the 26-year-old is backing the team he has been with all his career to at least try and find a way to regain their place at the top of the pile. "He (Vettel) has taken away my youngest champion (tag) from me and on the road he's on I hope he doesn't pull too far away in terms of wins," Hamilton told the Independent ahead of his home Grand Prix at Silverstone this weekend. "I think the title is a long way away. That's disappointing, given the effort I've made this year. "I know how hard the team are pushing. But this is the third year in a row when we haven't had a car with a chance of taking the title. "I feel that I've given them a good direction of what I want to see in the car. It seems obvious: I want what Red Bull have, but it isn't as simple as that."
