Harendra Gupta of Chandigarh got the better of Delhi's Rashid Khan in a playoff to win the Crompton Greaves Open 2012 at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC) on Saturday.
Gupta and Khan had ended the 72 holes with matching totals of 13-under-267 before they headed for the playoff. Gupta (65-66-70-66) displayed some fine play to win on the final day of the Rs 1 crore event. He was two strokes off the lead and tied third after Round 3, but got his act together in Round 4.

The 28-year-old found the green on the par-5 4th hole in two shots to set up his day’s first birdie. He then landed his approach shot inches off the cup for birdie on the 9th followed by a birdie on the 10th to take the sole lead.
