Tuglakabad: Ace Indian shooter Heena Sidhu on Wednesday claimed gold medal in the 10m air pistol women's event at the Asia Olympic qualifying competition and consequently secured her berth for this year's Rio Olympics.

Sidhu topped the qualification round with a score of 387 before she shot 199.4 in the final to finish with gold medal at the Dr. Karni Singh Range.
The 26-year-old former world number one also became the ninth shooter to win an Olympic quota for the country so far.
