Not many know that India's ace shooter Abhinav Bindra did not have perfect eyesight even as he shot India's first individual gold medal at the Olympics in Beijing in 2008. It is only after the Olympics that the sharpshooter underwent Lasik surgery and has since been able to see things clearly. The operation not only improved his vision but with it has also bettered his chances of repeating his Olympic gold medal feat at the London games next year.
