By now, it is well known that India's Olympic silver medallist PV Sindhu was put under a strict diet and disciplined lifestyle by her coach Pullela Gopichand till the Rio Games concluded.

But the shuttler, during a felicitation ceremony at Cricket Club of India (CCI) on Saturday, revealed that she sometimes turns to ice cream after losing a game.
Sindhu, who was awarded an honorary membership of the club for her outstanding contribution in badminton, was speaking to a group of enthusiastic kids and their parents when she revealed her love for ice cream.
"When I lose, I'm really upset. I think about the match and what went wrong. But sometimes I just go and have an ice cream!" she said.
She became India's badminton darling when she beat Japanese shuttler Nozomi Okuhara in the semi-finals of the 2016 Summer Olympics, ensuring she would be only the second India women's player after Saina Nehwal to win an Olympic badminton medal. "During the Olympics, I did not eat junk food. We have to maintain a strict diet — more proteins and carbs. When it comes to junk, I do eat sometimes, but not a lot," she said.
Magical journey
Talking about her journey, Sindhu said: "It has been truly magical. This has not just been one year of hardwork; it's been a long journey and I've learned a lot. But I think this is only the start."
