Unseeded Prenamallur Vignesh of Andhra Pradesh stunned third seed Manish Sureshkumar of Tamil Nadu in two straight sets to enter the men's singles final of the JVPG Anirudh Desai All-India Open Tennis tournament on Saturday. Vignesh subdued Manish 6-3, 6-2 to earn a shot in Sunday's final against Siddharth Vishwakarma of Chhattisgarh who beat Kunal Anand of Delhi 6-2, 7-6(4) in the other semi-final. In the women's semis, Mahak tamed fourth seed Nithyaraj Baburaj of 6-0, 6-3 while Humera advanced to the final after her opponent Mihika Yadav of Maharashtra did not report for the match as she is unwell.
