Three mountaineers, including a woman, from Jharkhand scaled the world's highest peak Mount Everest early on Saturday.
The expedition was headed by Rajendra Singh Pal. Pal’s sister Bachendri Pal was the first Indian woman to reach the summit. Besides Pal, Meghlal Mahata and Binita Soren also scaled the 8,848-metre peak.
