Former Olympic and world 100m champion Justin Gatlin notched up another victory on the comeback trail on Friday, clocking 10.15sec at a meeting in Padova.
It was a welcome return to Padua for Gatlin where he ran his first international race in 2003 as a young sprinter who beat another rising-star Asafa Powell. He went on to win the Olympic title in Athens a year later.
The American, who served a four-year doping suspension, has been appearing in a series of low-key meets as he tries to rebuild his shattered career.
