Hollywood actress Katie Holmes revealed that she is an intense basketball fan while promoting her upcoming mini series The Kennedys: After Camelot during American talk show 'The Tonight Show' on Wednesday.
Host Jimmy Fallon quizzed the 38-year-old actress about her Final Four (a basketball tournament) playoffs to which she replied: "I'm a big basketball fan."
"My dad played at Marquette under Al McGuire," Daily Mail quoted Holmes in reference to her father Marty, who played under the legendary coach's first two teams at Marquette University in 1965 and 1966.
Holmes said everyone in her family, except her, are very good at basketball. She told the host that she attended NCAA tournament East Regional games last weekend at Madison Square Garden.
The Batman Begins star said that being the youngest of five children she used to cheer her brother and three sisters at games. "I pray. I do rituals. I don't yell at the referee and say stuff like, 'You're ugly or you suck! You're so mean! Those pants are too tight!'. I just want to be part of the game," added Holmes.
