British golfer Westwood's estranged wife files for divorce after accusing him of having numerous extra marital affairs

Golfer Lee Westwood's estranged wife Laurae, 42, has filed a £50m divorce after she accused him of cheating before they split in 2015.
Reportedly, Laurae, who was married to the Brit golfer for 16 years, had suspected him of having numerous extra marital affairs. Meanwhile, Lee, 44, who has won £50m prize money and earns £5m a year in sponsorship deals, denies the accusations, reported The Sun.

"The whole thing is a mess. Both have made claims and it is unfortunately for the courts to decide how it ends up. Lee denies he's done anything wrong, but it's very sad given how long they've been together," a relative of Laurae told the British tabloid. Interestingly, months after the break-up Lee started dating model Helen Storey, 40, a divorced mum. The former couple are set to face each other in court next month. But the golfer has asked the court to postpone the hearing as it clashes with this year's British Masters.
"In the event the trial date cannot be changed, he will abdicate his responsibilities with respect to the British Masters," Lee's lawyers said in a court application.
