Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn reveals she was only blocks away from the New York terror attack
America's champion skier Lindsey Vonn is worried about the increasing violence and bloodshed that's taking place around the world. On Wednesday, eight people were killed and a dozen injured when a man in a rented pickup truck mowed down pedestrians and cyclists along the busy bike path near the West Side Highway in New York and Vonn was nearby the incident spot. Yesterday, the 2010 Laureus Sportswoman Of The Year, who joined many others from the US team as part of their 13 stop tour across the United States as a part of the 100 day countdown for the 2018 Winter Games in South Korea, tweeted, "I was just a few blocks away from where ppl were killed today. I don't understand what's happening in the world. So much [senseless] violence."

Meanwhile, Vonn showed a completely different side when she visited the sets of the Tonight Show. When host Jimmy Fallon asked her on what she listens to atop the mountain to put her in a Michael Phelps state of mind, she replied, "Oh yeah, Lil Wayne, blasting beats. I'm in it."
