It’s has been barely a week since Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn and former World No 1 golfer Tiger Woods announced that they were splitting, but a magazine has quoted her friend that from within she is very hurt. On Tuesday, when she was appointed honorary ambassador to the 2018 Winter Olympic Games, she ducked the question related to their split.

Tough times
“She had work commitments and had to put her best face on but, of course, she’s really bummed. It’s really hard,” her friend was quoted as saying by People magazine.
After being together for three years, it hasn’t been an easy call for the sporting couple. “The decision to break up wasn’t an easy one and it’s hard for both of them right now. Lindsey is hurting – she loves him and that doesn’t just go away,” the source said.
The reason for the split seems as they explained in respective social media posts were busy schedules and global travel that comes with their jobs.
“It was much easier to see each other when they were both injured, but now they’re healthy and have to travel so much. It got too hard. But never say never. If there’s a time when their schedules aren’t so insane and they can spend more than three weeks a year in the same place, who knows, they could even rekindle things. There’s a lot of love there,” the pal said.
The spilt seems to have affected Woods more. “It is tough. There’s no doubt about that, it is tough,” he said talking about the split during a conference. Even as the couple spilt, betting site Paddy Power has odds on who Woods will date next. Some of the names are — singer Rihanna, tennis star Caroline Wozniacki, actress Cameron Diaz, Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Lawrence and model Kourtney Kardashian.
