Dailystar.co.uk reports that the 22-year-old Serbian player, who has slipped to number 47 in the World Tennis Association ratings, has caused uproar at Wimbledon claiming the game has become a beauty contest.

Ivanovic says men tennis players are friendly, but women players compete over, "Who's the prettiest, who's the most popular, the most fashionable, who's getting the most coverage. In the men's game, they're all friends. But we're not friends".

The Serbian was knocked out from the ongoing tennis tournament Wimbledon in the first round. Ivanovic lost to Shahar Peer.
