Keith Fernandes and Harsh Naik scored a goal each for the Matunga lads. Keith emerged the highest scorer of the tournament with seven goals to his name. The Bosco boys had beaten Scottish previously in the league stage of the tournament 4-0.

Yesterday, Keith scored the opener in the fifth minute when he dribbled past Scottish defender Ryan Davar on the left and shot into the right of goal.

After the break, Harsh's brilliant shot from the right (32nd minute) sealed the fate of the match.

Don Bosco coach Naresh Solanki felt his boys could have scored more.

"Though the boys played very well today, I thought we would have scored a couple of more goals and have won by a bigger margin. But it was nice to see the boys hold possession and dominate the proceedings. The boys have worked very hard and I'm glad we were able to register this hat-trick of titles," said Solanki.

Bombay Scottish coach Padam Dansingh said the early goal from the Bosco boys was a setback for his team. "The early goal cost us the match and the title. We did try and push ourselves back into the game, but then they struck a second and it was all over."

Meanwhile, St Domnic Savio (Andheri) thrashed St Stanislaus (Bandra) 6-1 to seal third place in the same tournament at the same venue yesterday. Quien D'Souza scored a hat-trick while Jayden Coutino scored a brace and Duane D'Souza chipped in with one for the Andheri school. Nauman Hussain reduced the margin for St Stanislaus.
