NBA star Brandon Jennings was at a city hotel yesterday and his only words for aspiring basketball players were "make your own decisions".
The 21-year-old Milwaukee Bucks point guard is in the city foru00a0 NBA's National Skills Championship event to be held at the Indian Gymkhana.
His decision to play in the Italian league instead of playing college basketball (which is the conventional route to break into the NBA), was something he was the first to do. "People told me that I should go to college. It (playing abroad) would not work and I may risk annoying those who matter. But I didn't have any second thoughts. As it turned out, it was the best decision," he told PTI.
