An estimated one million people still do not have running water and Sharapova, who played an exhibition match with Puig in San Juan last December, to raise funds for the cause, no wants to do more.
Puig set up a fundraising page in the aftermath of the storm, with the current total standing at more than 130,000 US dollars.
That money has been used to purchase lamps, stoves, propane cylinders and medication, which have been shipped to Puerto Rico, where Puig and Sharapova will distribute the supplies.

Sharapova has pledged to donate all profits from her sweet business, Sugarpova, for the rest of the year to the relief efforts.
"I will go with Maria on Monday, so we will both be helping out. I really like the fact that she’s contributing. I know that Puerto Rico will welcome her with open arms," Puig, who won gold at last year’s Rio Olympics, told tennis website insideout-tennis.de.
