Maria Sharapova didn't brood in her Florida dwelling after losing to nemesis Serena Williams at the Miami hardcourt event last week. She had good reason to do so considering it was her 15th successive loss to the American No 1.

On Sunday, the Russian beauty emerged on the streets of Miami wearing shots, according to the Daily Mail newspaper which said: "The 26-year-old Russian-born tennis star showed off her lean legs in a pair of printed orange and blue shorts.
Looking casual but chic, she teamed her shorts with a black blouse, navy blazer, and strappy black sandals, while her hair was worn loose over her shoulders.
"Maintaining her trim figure, the pro athlete sipped on a health green juice." On the same day, she tweeted: "Good morning Miami! Long but fun day ahead." And she did have some fun on the streets something our high profile cricketers would envy.
Loves her shorts
It seems Sharapova loves wearing shorts. During the Miami event, she posted a photograph of herself in a gym and wrote: "Team spin class this morning in my sexy biker shorts."
Serena Williams
After the Miami defeat, the media grilled her about the loss and she came through that little test in splendid fashion saying she learns each time she loses to Serena. At the end of the interaction she gave every indication that her best will come in the remainder of the year.
She said: "I love the upcoming season and what's ahead, and it will be great for me to get back to Europe and to play that long swing of tournaments."
