NBA: Boston Celtics complete trade with Brooklyn Nets

The blockbuster deal struck on NBA draft night between the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets became official on Friday.

The Nets formally welcomed Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Jason Terry and DJ White to Brooklyn, where they’ll play under former star point guard Jason Kidd.

Kidd took over as coach last month in a rare jump straight from the playing ranks to a head coaching job.
