The agent of Sammy Wanjiru is "100% certain" the Olympic marathon champion did not commit suicide.
The 24-year-old Kenyan died in the early hours of this morning after falling from a balcony at his home in the Rift Valley town of Nyahururu.
Reports suggest Wanjiru, who won the London and Chicago marathons in 2009, was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife shortly before the fatal fall.
Agent Federico Rosa told CNN World Sport: "I have no more details other than he fell from his balcony. All I know is what I have seen on the news.
"I tried calling the police station for more news but they are yet to finish their investigation. They said he had a fight with his wife but I don't know any more than that.
"I'm 100% certain it was not suicide, that's all that I can tell you. I talked to him yesterday, he seemed very relaxed, happy and everything was cool."
