S Rly women's lift Ramu Memorial title

Defending champion Southern Railway defeated Chattisgarh 64-39 to lift the 28th Ramu Memorial Basketball Tournament women's title at the Indian Gymkhana yesterday.

They took revenge for their 54-55 defeat to the same team in the round robin league stage.

The win earned the railway side a prize money of R 60,000 and a trophy, while runner-up Chattisgarh got R 30,000 for their efforts.u00a0
